Job Summary
Personal Banker at KeyBank responsible for attracting new clients and expanding relationships, opening consumer and small business accounts, and providing tailored financial wellness guidance to clients both in person and via proactive outreach. Acts as a trusted advisor, achieves individual activity, behavior, and outcome goals, collaborates with branch teammates and business partners, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports branch operations including teller duties. Requires strong client communication, relationship-building, sales aptitude, knowledge of consumer credit, and ability to educate clients on digital banking platforms.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent business experience (required)
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
- 1+ years Experience in developing current and new customer relationships, achieving sales goals, and building referral sources
- Understanding of consumer credit - including loan to value, debt to income and credit reports
- Foundational knowledge of sales and service techniques with clients, including tele-consulting, outside calling, prospecting, and networking
- Working knowledge of PCs (MS Windows and Office Products including Word, Excel)
- Working knowledge of digital technology (mobile, apps, web-based banking) and ability to educate clients on digital platforms and capabilities within Key
