Job Summary
Listen for financial wellness opportunities during in-person and over-the-phone client conversations to provide customized recommendations. Open personal and business accounts, including consumer checking, small business, and deposit products, while developing partnerships with branch teammates to deepen client relationships. Ensure compliance with operational, risk, and audit procedures, including appropriate documentation of interactions, and support branch operations by assisting with client transactions on the teller line. Participate in morning huddles and end-of-day debriefs, and work Saturdays as directed by management. This role requires a client-first, sales-driven mindset to attract new clients and expand existing relationships based on unique financial goals.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent business experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in developing current and new customer relationships, achieving sales goals, and building referral sources
- Experience with sales
- Understanding of consumer credit - including loan to value, debt to income and credit reports
- Foundational knowledge of sales and service techniques with clients, including tele-consulting, outside calling, prospecting, and networking
- Demonstrated experience with influencing business partners and leveraging centers of influence
- Working knowledge of PCs (MS Windows and Office Products including Word, Excel, etc.)
- Working knowledge of digital technology (mobile, apps, web-based browsing) and ability to educate clients on digital platforms and capabilities within Key
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to routinely and frequently operate a motor vehicle
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
- Experience with small business clients, overcoming objection, and asking fact-finding questions with the goal of being helpful
- Notary License (preferred)
