Job Summary
Listen for financial wellness opportunities during in-person and over-the-phone client conversations, then provide customized recommendations to assist clients' financial goals. Open personal and business accounts including checking, deposits, and lending products while consistently attaining individual activity, behavior, and outcome goals. Develop partnerships with branch teammates and line-of-business partners to attract new clients and deepen relationships with existing accounts. Ensure compliance with operational, risk, security, and audit procedures by documenting all client interactions and acting professionally at all times. Support branch operations by assisting with client transactions on the teller line as needed and participate in morning huddles and end-of-day debriefs. Work Saturdays as directed by management and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent business experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 1 year experience in developing current and new customer relationships, achieving sales goals, and building referral sources
- Experience with sales
- Understanding of consumer credit - including loan to value, debt to income and credit reports
- Foundational knowledge of sales and service techniques with clients, including tele-consulting, outside calling, prospecting, and networking
- Demonstrated experience with influencing business partners and leveraging centers of influence
- Working knowledge of PCs (MS Windows and Office Products including Word, Excel, etc.)
- Working knowledge of digital technology (mobile, apps, web-based browsing) and ability to educate clients on digital platforms and capabilities within Key
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to routinely and frequently operate a motor vehicle
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
- Comfortable interacting with small business clients, overcoming objection, and asking fact-finding questions with the goal of being helpful
- Notary License (preferred)
