Job Summary
Listen for financial wellness opportunities during in-person and over-the-phone client conversations to provide customized recommendations. Open personal and business accounts, including checking, deposits, and lending products, while managing internal and external partnerships to deepen relationships and drive client acquisition. Ensure compliance with operational procedures and support branch operations, including assisting with client transactions on the teller line. Work Saturdays as directed and participate in daily huddles and debriefs. This role requires a sales-driven mindset with strong relationship-building skills to help clients move forward in their financial journey.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent business experience
- 1+ years Experience in developing current and new customer relationships, achieving sales goals, and building referral sources
- Experience with sales
- Understanding of consumer credit - including loan to value, debt to income and credit reports
- Foundational knowledge of sales and service techniques with clients, including tele-consulting, outside calling, prospecting, and networking
- Demonstrated experience with influencing business partners and leveraging centers of influence
- Working knowledge of PCs (MS Windows and Office Products including Word, Excel, etc.)
- Working knowledge of digital technology (mobile, apps, web-based browsing) and ability to educate clients on digital platforms and capabilities within Key
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to routinely and frequently operate a motor vehicle
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Comfortable interacting with small business clients, overcoming objection, and asking fact-finding questions with the goal of being helpful
- Notary License
