Job Summary
Personal Banker responsible for engaging clients to uncover financial needs and provide guidance to support financial wellness, both in-person and via proactive calling. Drive client acquisition and deepen existing relationships by opening consumer and small business accounts, and recommending banking products such as deposits, home equity, and unsecured lending. Collaborate with branch teammates and partners, meet sales and activity goals, ensure compliance, participate in branch operations, and occasionally lead in-person huddles. Requires strong communication, relationship-building, and ability to educate clients on digital banking tools; Saturday work as directed by management.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent business experience
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 1 year minimum experience in developing customer relationships and achieving sales goals
- Experience with sales is important
- Understanding of consumer credit (loan-to-value, debt-to-income, credit reports)
- Tele-consulting, outside calling, prospecting, networking experience
- Notary License preferred
- Experience with PCs (MS Windows, Office) and digital platforms
- Ability to educate clients on digital platforms
