Job Summary
Personal Banker engaging clients to uncover needs and provide financial wellness guidance; opens personal and business accounts, collaborates with branch teammates to deepen client relationships, ensures compliance, assists with teller transactions, and participates in morning huddles with occasional weekend work. Requires strong sales and relationship-building skills, ability to educate clients on digital platforms, knowledge of consumer credit, and proficiency with PCs and office software.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent business experience (required)
- Minimum of 1 year's experience in developing current and new customer relationships, achieving sales goals, and building referral sources
- Experience with sales is more important than financial services experience
- Understanding of consumer credit - including loan to value, debt to income and credit reports (required)
- Foundational knowledge of sales and service techniques with clients, including tele-consulting, outside calling, prospecting, and networking (required)
- Working knowledge of PCs (MS Windows and Office Products including Word, Excel, etc.) (required)
- Working knowledge of digital technology (mobile, apps, web-based browsing) and ability to educate clients on digital platforms and capabilities within Key (required)
