Job Summary
Deliver a superior customer experience by managing assigned accounts, acquiring new clients, and retaining relationships through consultative financial solutions. Open checking, savings, and deposit accounts; process transactions, wire transfers, and collections; and balance cash drawers while maintaining accurate customer files. Proactively meet clients in person and over the phone to identify needs, tailor product recommendations, and connect them to specialized banking experts. Work in partnership with specialists to address complex financial requirements and contribute to branch goals.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree from two-year college or university
- 3-5 years of experience in Retail banking sales
- 3-5 years of experience in financial services sales
- 3-5 years of experience in Consultative relationship sales role in a related industry
- proven success in establishing new clients
- proven success in deepening customer relationships
- proven success in delivering results
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
- knowledge of Microsoft Internet Explorer
- knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- Ability to lift and carry cash drawers, coin bags, and boxes sometimes weighing as much as 25 pounds
