Job Summary
Conduct an average of 12+ daily customer conversations, presenting features of checking, savings, CDs, and digital banking tools while updating CRM records for all interactions. Build relationships by understanding customers' financial states and goals, then employing appropriate solutions for products like mortgages, investments, and commercial lending. Maintain accurate sales records, review results with the Branch Manager, and ensure all transactions—from cash handling to loan payments—are completed accurately and timely. Ensure compliance with regulations including the Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act, and fair lending rules while assisting team members in product training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Able to be registered as a mortgage loan originator (MLO) in the Nationwide Mortgage License System and Registry (NMLS)
- May be required to lift up to 25 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Previous sales and cash handling experience
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to utilize personal computers and Windows based programs
- Able to successfully complete Bank product and sales training courses and appropriate certifications
