Job Summary
Deliver exceptional service to current and prospective Suffolk Credit Union members while educating them on credit union products, services, and benefits; identify cross-sell opportunities and generate referrals to consumer, mortgage, and wealth-management areas. Build and deepen member relationships, resolve requests and issues promptly, process transactions with confidentiality, and conduct member research/outreach for sales and service purposes. Complete new member onboarding and assist with account maintenance and fraud claims; handle daily Personal Banker tasks including wire transfers, account changes, and check processing. Support inbound call centers, digital banking, and travel to branches as needed; strive to meet or exceed monthly loan goals in compliance with policies and regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency certification
- Two (2) years of customer service, preferably in a banking environment
- Notary License required or to be obtained within three (3) months of hire
- NMLS-ID (Mortgage Loan Originator) required and will be provided at time of hire if not already acquired
- Bilingual preferred
