Job Summary
Personal Banker II at Suffolk Credit Union focuses on delivering exceptional member service and building relationships through acquisition, retention, and cross-selling within retail banking. The role identifies referral opportunities to consumer, commercial, mortgage lending, and wealth management areas, processes transactions with confidentiality, completes onboarding and account maintenance, supports branches and digital banking, and aims to meet monthly loan goals in compliance with policies and regulations. The position requires knowledge of credit union products, regulatory awareness (Truth in Lending, HMDA, ECOA), and the ability to handle sensitive information; Notary and NMLS credentials are required or will be provided, with bilingual ability preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Two years of customer service experience, preferably in banking
- Notary License required or to be obtained within three months of hire
- NMLS-ID required and will be provided at time of hire if not already acquired
- Bilingual preferred
