Job Summary
Manage assigned customers by meeting in person and over the phone to build lasting relationships, discover financial needs, and tailor product recommendations. Deliver superior service by opening accounts, processing deposits and withdrawals, entering transactions, issuing receipts, and performing wire transfers. Educate clients on Great Plains technology and collaborate with specialists to connect customers to specialized financial solutions. Maintain customer files, order cash supplies, count incoming funds, and balance the cash drawer at shift end.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree from two-year college or university
- 3-5 years of experience in Retail banking sales
- experience in financial services sales
- Consultative relationship sales role in a related industry
- proven success in establishing new clients
- proven success in deepening customer relationships
- proven success in delivering results
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and/or governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from other employees, customers and the general public
- Ability to calculate basic math figures and amounts
- knowledge of Microsoft Internet Explorer
- knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- Ability to lift and carry cash drawers, coin bags, and boxes sometimes weighing as much as 25 pounds
