Job Summary
Personal Banker I at UMB delivers relationship-based banking by asking personalized questions to convert transactions and routine service requests into cross-sell conversations, calls on leads, visits to businesses for workplace banking, and development of referral networks. You will balance competing priorities to meet daily KPIs, learn processes such as cash handling and bank documentation in compliance with industry standards, and contribute to a high-energy, sales-driven team while providing customers with tailored financial solutions and a superior experience. Training on UMB’s products and services and ongoing mentorship support your growth in consumer banking.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- one year of experience in a retail environment engaging with customers and making product recommendations that lead to sales or relevant experience
- ability to obtain NMLS registration within 90 days
