Job Summary
Welcome members into the branch to provide professional service and sales of deposit, loan, and convenient products through rapport building and proficient knowledge. Interpret and process financial inquiries, account openings, loan originations, closings, disbursements, service requests, and transactions accurately and efficiently. Secure credit union assets, manage balance transactions, and complete necessary reports while attaining established Credit Union and Branch goals through active participation in sales programs. Work 40 hours per week Monday through Friday between 8:15am and 5:45pm, with rotating Saturdays from 8:45am to 1:15pm at the St. Paul Highland Branch.
Required Qualifications
- Availability to work 40 hours per week Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:15am – 5:45pm and rotating Saturdays 8:45am – 1:15pm
- An Associate's Degree in Business Administration or a related field, or two years of equivalent work experience
- Two years of cash handling experience or experience serving and interacting with customers
- Highly-developed interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a desire to help people
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Good decision-making skills and judgement
- Ability to perform calculations and proficiency in basic math skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize work and maintain accurate records
- A professional and friendly appearance and demeanor
- Compliance with the terms and conditions outlined in TruStone Financial's SAFE Act Policy, which includes the submission of fingerprints, the successful completion of an FBI background check and maintaining current and compliant registration in Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS)
- Compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and all its provisions
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and various background checks
- Regular and reliable attendance at the workplace
Desired Qualifications
- Experience recommending products and plans to improve a customer's financial position, preferred
- Knowledge of banking and/or credit union regulations, preferred
