Job Summary
Personal Banker I provides personalized, needs-based financial guidance across in-person, phone, and digital channels; opens and services consumer and small business deposit and loan accounts; processes deposits, withdrawals, payments, transfers, and related transactions; supports debit/ATM issuance and digital banking; identifies opportunities for product recommendations, referrals, and education; refers customers to internal specialists to ensure a comprehensive financial experience; assists with loan applications and educates customers on loan options; ensures compliance and problem resolution; participates in community outreach and branch initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years customer service/cash handling; banking preferred
- Customer service and communication skills
- Needs-based sales and referral capability
- Knowledge of deposits, digital banking, and consumer lending
- Proficiency with systems and Microsoft Office
