Job Summary
Handle account openings, process transactions, and maintain accurate records for all customer relationships. Interview clients to determine needs, recommend products, and resolve problems or escalate Regulation E disputes. Collect documentation, verify information, prepare forms, and process deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments. Identify fraudulent activity, cash checks, and balance the daily drawer while promoting bank services.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some clerical, administrative, cash handling, sales or customer service experience
- Knowledge of customer service principles
- Relevant computer skills
- Possess exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to complete tasks accurately and efficiently
- Team player who operates with a dynamic, 'all hands-on deck' approach
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Positive, resourceful, and flexible
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures
- Outstanding written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, active listening skills and relationship building capabilities
- Ability to multitask and perform a variety of job functions in any given day
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds of force frequently
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds of force constantly
- Must have close visual acuity to prepare and analyze data and figures
- Must have close visual acuity to view a computer terminal
- Must be available for 7 ½ continuous hours or more
- Must take a 30 minute uninterrupted lunch break no later than 5 hours after beginning their work day
