Job Summary
Personal Banker at Truliant in Winston-Salem, NC engages members in conversations to identify financial needs and guide them to suitable deposits, lending products, and related services. Responsibilities include processing account openings and loan applications, performing quality guidance and credit reviews, executing the branch plan to meet goals, educating members on products, making outbound sales/service calls, managing loan/deposit pipelines, and assisting with IRA accounts. Requires knowledge of deposit/loan products, policies, and compliance, along with NMLS/Mortgage licensing requirements, Notary within 3 months, and Branch Lending Training within 3 months. Strong communication, arithmetic, and computer skills are essential, with a focus on member service, referrals to other business units, and delivering a professional banking experience.
Required Qualifications
- National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
- Good arithmetic skills
- Basic personal computer skills
- Knowledge of advanced products and services
- Notary appointment within 3 months
- Attend Branch Lending Training within 3 months
- Detail oriented and well organized
- Flexible and able to shift resources and priorities as required
- Ability to complete all assignments with minimal supervision
- College degree or equivalent experience
- Previous sales and lending experience (preferred)
