Job Summary
Initiate and conduct customer interviews to gather information for evaluating and recommending banking solutions. Provide superior service by opening new accounts, resolving inquiries, and generating new business to meet profitability goals. Complete account maintenance, generate and close consumer loans, and act as a lead contact for walk-in sales inquiries. Maintain updated knowledge of products and procedures while adhering to all operational policies. Assist in mentoring new team members and serve as backup for branch manager duties.
Required Qualifications
- Proven sales ability to identify and recommend varying solutions.
- Ability to provide superior customer service through face to face and phone conversations.
- Demonstrated technical ability to perform required duties and the ability to keep current on new products, loan promotions, and all services offered.
- Proven critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to consistently apply policies and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in computer skills, to include windows based systems.
- Must complete all certification requirements
- Must be able to work Monday through Friday
- Must be able to work Saturday shifts
- Must be able to travel to various locations, such as Marion, Fishers, and Fort Wayne
- Must be able to work 38.5 hours per week
- Must be able to work between 8:30am and 5:15pm
- Must be able to work a shortened workday on weeks scheduled to work Saturday
