Job Summary
As a Personal Banker at TD Canada Trust, you will be responsible for advising customers on financial solutions, providing personalized financial advice, and enhancing customer experiences. You will engage with clients to identify their financial needs, discuss investment options, and recommend appropriate banking products. The role requires strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a solid understanding of investment processes to improve customer confidence. A high school diploma with at least one year of relevant experience is mandatory, alongside the completion of specific financial service qualifications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma and/or 1 year of relevant experience
- Completion of IFIC or equivalent required
- CFSA must be completed within 12 months, if hired
- Tactful communicator able to exchange ideas and customer information in a concise and logical way
- A self-initiator with strong organizational, planning and time management skills
Desired Qualifications
- Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree in related field
- Real estate secured lending and/or investment experience
- Sound knowledge of advanced investing and credit processes
- Proficiency in software tools including MS Office and internet applications
