Job Summary
Advise customers on high-level financial solutions by asking thoughtful questions, engaging in personalized advice, and addressing concerns to deepen relationships. Act as a point of contact for frontline staff handling customer problems while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy. Provide financial reviews, discuss portfolio updates, and suggest additional solutions based on customer goals. Work closely with existing and prospective customers to promote products and ensure a positive experience. Stay knowledgeable about emerging issues, evolving regulations, and industry codes of conduct to protect organizational interests. Achieve service level agreements and productivity targets while preparing documents consistent with relevant regulations. Participate fully as a team member by mentoring others and addressing communication issues efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 1 year of relevant experience
- Completion of IFIC or equivalent
- CFSA must be completed within 12 months, if hired
- Sound knowledge of advanced investing and credit processes, banking solutions and concepts
- Proficiency in software tools including MS Office, and internet application
- Tactful communicator able to exchange ideas and customer information in a concise and logical way
- Self-initiator with strong organizational, planning and time management skills
- Knowledge of emerging issues, evolving regulations and industry codes of conduct
Desired Qualifications
- Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree in related field
- Real estate secured lending and/or investment experience
