Job Summary
The Personal Banker is responsible for assessing needs and delivering banking solutions for new and existing customers, including processing transactions, opening lines of credit, deposits, and resolving discrepancies. Responsibilities include greeting clients, handling cash and deposits, balancing the cash drawer, recording transactions, maintaining branch files, cross-selling deposit and consumer lending products, interviewing and qualifying loan prospects, opening new accounts, training new employees, and providing administrative support. Requires strong customer service, cash handling, and sales skills, with preference for college degree or equivalent experience.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years cash handling experience
- 2 years customer service and sales experience
- College degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- Proficient in the sales and service of both personal and business retail products
