Job Summary
Process banking center transactions, safety deposit, cash machine, and vault balancing activities while adhering to established bank policies. Greet clients upon entry, identify needs, and open personal accounts, CDs, and cross-sell bank services. Resolve less complex client inquiries, build loyalty by addressing clients by name, and provide transaction overrides to assist less experienced staff. Participate in retail sales programs, team meetings, and community projects, and assist the manager with audits, reporting, and scheduling as requested. Maintain confidentiality of client information and company records while handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Travel to all locations as needed for meetings, projects, and training.
Required Qualifications
- Good PC skills – proficiency in Microsoft word and Excel essential
- Ability to travel to all locations as needed for meetings, projects, training, seminars, etc
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Responsible for the completion of all training related to the position
- Understands all applicable laws and regulations that apply to the position and complies with the requirements
- Ability to protect the confidentiality/privacy of others as appropriate, as well as of company documents and records
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Four (4) or more years of retail banking experience preferred
- Customer service and sales oriented
- High degree of attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to cross-sell bank products and services
- Highly motivated
- Ability to work in a team atmosphere
- One (1) - three (3) years college preferred
