Job Summary
Deliver exceptional client experience and drive long-term relationships as a Personal Banker. Under the 9-week Banking Navigator training program, you'll gain hands-on guidance and spend time on product knowledge, consultative client interactions, and skill-building exercises to prepare for a branch role. Responsibilities include providing solutions on account activity, teller transactions, digital banking products, loan and retail products for new/existing clients, educating clients on online banking, Bill Pay, E-Statements, mobile and ATM deposits, resolving client issues, and complying with internal controls and regulatory requirements. The role emphasizes sales and client relations across in-person, phone, and digital channels, with professional development through coaching and performance feedback.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1+ years of sales or customer service experience
- Working knowledge of consumer financial products and services
- Working knowledge of banking, retail sales operations and/or contact center operations including phone, email and chat support
- Excellent verbal communication skills; effectively and courteously providing customer information, resolving issues and building relationships
- Excellent written communication skills demonstrated by professional etiquette, proper grammar and punctuation
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to follow established standards and use judgment to determine when appropriate to escalate
- Strong basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Working PC application skills including word processing and spreadsheet packages and the ability to learn to use various internal company systems
- Ability to complete multiple tasks at a time
- Detail oriented, high degree of accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & under pressure
