Job Summary
Delivers exceptional service to customers and prospects by identifying needs and providing advice on financial solutions including everyday banking, retail investments, lending, and home financing. Proactively engages with clients to complete needs assessments, recommend tailored solutions, and promote digital self-serve options. Generates appointments, builds new relationships, and resolves issues raised through consumer credit audits while adhering to legal and regulatory requirements. Applies the risk management framework to protect assets, makes credit recommendations for personal lending, and identifies suspicious activity related to money laundering. Works collaboratively within the branch, completes complex tasks including escalations, and maintains current knowledge of the financial services marketplace. May work at multiple branches or through various channels based on market needs.
Required Qualifications
- Typically between 2 - 3 years of relevant experience
- post-secondary degree in related field of study
- Registration to sell investment products completed - as appropriate for the jurisdiction
- Appropriate lending qualifications and designations
- Working knowledge of personal and small business customer needs and solutions
- Working knowledge of retail investments and lending products
- Experience in financial services
- Experience in a consultative customer service or sales role
- Confident and experienced in the use of social media, tablets, Smart phones, online tools, and applications
