Job Summary
Personal Banker at BMO Financial Group in London, ON delivers exceptional service to customers and prospects, identifies customer needs, and provides advice and guidance on financial solutions across everyday banking, retail investments, lending, and home financing. Builds relationships through proactive needs assessments, educates on digital/self-serve options, collaborates with branch and partners, and ensures compliance with risk management and regulatory requirements while contributing to sales and performance goals. The role may require flexibility across branches and channels to support community banking objectives and deliver a personalized customer experience.
Required Qualifications
- Typically between 2 - 3 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Canada only: Registration to sell investment products completed - as appropriate for the jurisdiction
- Appropriate lending qualifications and designations
- Working knowledge of personal and small business customer needs and solutions
- Working knowledge of retail investments and lending products
- Experience in financial services is an asset
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport and connections with customers
- Verbal & written communication skills - Good
