Job Summary
Delivers exceptional service to customers and prospects by identifying needs and providing advice on financial solutions including everyday banking, retail investments, lending, and home financing. Proactively engages with clients to complete needs assessments, recommend tailored strategies, and generate appointments to grow loyalty and business. Supports transactions based on traffic volume while addressing credit audit questions and resolving issues raised through quality checks. Applies risk management frameworks to protect assets, analyze lending portfolios, and make sound credit recommendations in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Maintains current knowledge of the financial marketplace, reports suspicious activity related to money laundering, and contributes to ongoing improvements in the overall customer experience.
Required Qualifications
- Typically between 2 - 3 years of relevant experience
- post-secondary degree in related field of study
- Registration to sell investment products completed - as appropriate for the jurisdiction
- Appropriate lending qualifications and designations
- Working knowledge of personal and small business customer needs and solutions
- Working knowledge of retail investments and lending products
- Experience in financial services
- Experience in a consultative customer service or sales role
- Confident and experienced in the use of social media, tablets, Smart phones, online tools, and applications
