Job Summary
Delivers exceptional service to BMO customers by identifying needs and providing guidance on financial solutions including everyday banking, retail investments, lending, and small business options. Proactively engages with existing customers and prospects to grow loyalty, generate appointments, and build new relationships within the community. Supports customer transactions based on traffic while addressing questions and resolving issues raised through consumer credit audits and quality checks. Applies the risk management framework to protect the Bank's assets, makes credit recommendations for personal lending, and identifies suspicious patterns related to money laundering. Works collaboratively within the branch and through various channels to achieve business objectives, maintaining current knowledge of personal banking products and trends.
Required Qualifications
- Typically between 2 - 3 years of relevant experience
- post-secondary degree in related field of study
- Registration to sell investment products completed - as appropriate for the jurisdiction
- Appropriate lending qualifications and designations
- Working knowledge of personal and small business customer needs and solutions
- Working knowledge of retail investments and lending products
- Experience in financial services
- Experience in a consultative customer service or sales role
- Confident and experienced in the use of social media, tablets, Smart phones, online tools, and applications

- A focus on results and the ability to thrive in a consultative sales and team-based environment
