Job Summary
Greet customers, facilitate a welcoming environment, and provide extraordinary service while efficiently processing transactions, maintaining cash drawers, and adhering to internal controls. Build and maintain relationships with customers to identify financial products and services, promote offerings, and generate new business through networking and on-site visits with local businesses. Open deposit accounts, process loan applications, and respond to customer inquiries to create positive solutions. Support banking center staff as needed and drive to various locations within the region using a personal vehicle for mileage reimbursement. This role requires flexibility for weekend hours and participation in formal training including a Teller Certification test.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one year successful sales experience in an incentive-driven or relational selling environment
- Minimum of 6 months cash handling and/or Point of Sale (POS) transaction experience in a retail sales or food industry environment
- Must have a current Notary or be willing to become one
- Ability to generate referrals including making on-site visits with local businesses
- Ability to work effectively as a team member and with customers
- Strong work ethic and high integrity
- Proficient with all Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, Excel etc.)
- Friendly, outgoing, assertive, confident, and enthusiastic personality
- Must successfully pass our Teller Certification test
- Must be available to work weekend hours
- Must possess the ability to lift and carry cash drawers, coin bags, and boxes sometimes weighing as much as 25 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Successful sales record in a retail banking environment
- Knowledge of bank services and products
- Bilingual (fluent verbal and written Spanish) skills
