Job Summary
The Personal Banker Associate is tasked with the dual role of Teller and Personal Banker, responsible for processing customer transactions and promoting financial products. Key responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service, achieving sales goals, opening deposit accounts, taking loan applications, and maintaining a balanced cash drawer. Candidates must demonstrate strong sales experience, cash handling skills, and the ability to build customer relationships. Strong teamwork, integrity, and proficiency in Microsoft applications are essential for success.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one year successful sales experience in an incentive-driven or relational selling environment
- Minimum 6 months of cash handling experience
- Ability to generate referrals including making on-site visits with local businesses
- Ability to work effectively as a team member and with customers
- Strong work ethic and high integrity
- Proficient with all Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, Excel etc.)
- Must have a current Notary or be willing to become one
Desired Qualifications
- Successful sales record in a retail banking environment
- Bilingual (fluent verbal and written Spanish) skills
