Job Summary
Program prepares to become Retail Personal Banker I after a 4-8 week onboarding with rotations in operations and Sales & Service, culminating in a certification to perform as part of the Retail Personal Banker job family. Uses consultative sales to identify and meet customer financial needs, cross-sell to existing customers, and engage in outside sales activities (presentations, calls, community events). Responsible for processing teller transactions, opening/servicing full range of Retail products, and collaborating with partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial, Investment). Requires staying compliant with risk management and policies, maintaining confidentiality, and traveling for training. On-the-job duties include building customer profiles, conducting financial reviews, and using marketing tools to set appointments, with emphasis on customer experience and meeting production goals. Minimum knowledge/skills include ability to perform advanced math for credit/financial analysis and professional representation of the bank. Working conditions include normal office environment with travel as needed for training.
Required Qualifications
- College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills or combination of education and experience
- S.A.F.E. Act registration at the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS)
- Travel ability for training within affiliate; willing to travel for training
