Job Summary
Personal Banker responsible for delivering excellent member experience through a wide range of credit union transactions, including opening new memberships, lending, and more. This position requires excellent communication skills to engage with members, follow credit union processes, and offer products and services that support members’ financial wellness. Responsibilities include opening new accounts, processing loans and loan applications (auto, credit card, home equity, etc.), cross-selling to meet branch goals, maintaining accurate records, assisting with deposits/withdrawals, and providing service in person and by phone at the Battle Creek, MI location. Emphasis on engaging service standards, accurate processing, and collaboration with the branch team to ensure a superior member experience.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum education of high school diploma or GED.
- Prior customer service and sales experience.
- Credit union or banking experience preferred but not required.
