Job Summary
As a Personal Banker in our retail banking network, you will support consumer and small business banking activities, maintain in-depth knowledge of retail products, provide practical problem-solving for customers, and offer leadership and guidance to branch staff. You will build long-term client relationships, drive branch goals, and actively cross-sell banking products. Core duties include relationship management with clients, assisting with account opening/maintenance/closing, driving business development, cross-selling products, processing deposits and loan payments, and supporting training and operational needs of the team. The role requires high school diploma or GED, 12 months of financial customer service or banking training, strong communication skills, proficiency with standard office technology, and a proactive focus on customer service and policy compliance. Salary in the range of $24-$28 per hour (annualized to $49,920–$58,240).
Required Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience: 12 months of financial customer service or related banking training
- Core Skills: Fundamental understanding of banking products, cross-selling strategies, and debit/credit principles
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills across phone, email, and face-to-face interactions
- Technical Skills: Ability to navigate standard office technology, software platforms, and mathematical problem-solving
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of direct banking experience is highly preferred
