Job Summary
Provide non-medical personal support services, life-skills support and light housekeeping to enable clients to live independently in a congregate living program. Duties include assisting with personal care, arranging and escorting clients to appointments, and housekeeping under direction in accordance with client contracts and applicable laws. Required experience in personal support for people with disabilities and/or seniors, HS diploma, and ability to plan, problem-solve, communicate effectively in English (additional languages an asset). Rotating days and afternoon shifts plus every other weekend; starting rate $24/hour plus $3 provincial wage enhancement; total $27/hour; location: Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Experience in provision of personal support services to people with disabilities and/or seniors are requirements for this position
