Job Summary
Full-time insurance sales role with Desjardins Insurance Agency in Burlington, ON. Responsibilities include effectively communicating Auto, Home, Commercial and Life insurance products to clients, meeting deadlines with accuracy, applying knowledge of insurance products to help clients manage risks, and reaching monthly sales targets. Training will be provided for licensed candidates. Desjardins emphasizes client service, growth opportunities, and a 4-day work week after training, with start salary around CAD 55,000 per year (approx. USD 40.7k) and three weeks of vacation to start.
Required Qualifications
- Othan Than Life (OTL) License or Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) License
- LLQP License preferred but not required at the time of interview
- Sales experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent communication, written, verbal and listening skills
- Self-motivated, goal oriented and enthusiastic
- Diligent and hardworking
- Proactive in problem solving
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Professional demeanor and extraordinary customer service skills
