Job Summary
As the Person In Charge (PIC) in Yakima, WA, you will act as the primary customer service contact and, in the absence of Store Manager and Assistant Managers, supervise the store front-end to uphold sales, profit, and customer-service goals. You will oversee cashiers, assist with register operations, and potentially perform cashier-checker duties, while coordinating across departments as needed. Responsibilities include handling emergencies and customer/commercial concerns, enforcing company policies, monitoring service and product replenishment on the sales floor, maintaining store safety and cleanliness, assisting with close-of-day tasks and tills, and performing basic office functions to support customers and staff. The role requires independent work, strong understanding of store operations, and prior experience in retail roles (clerking or management). The pay range is $17.38 to $20.71 per hour, with benefits and union considerations as applicable. The position is part-time and located in Yakima, WA, with in-store responsibilities and variable shifts.
