Job Summary

Direct and coordinate activities of store operations in the absence of Store Director, Assistant Store Director or other management to ensure efficient and economical operations and alignment of department associates with the store’s financial goals. Responsible for monitoring adherence to company policies, operating cashier and courtesy desk, addressing customer concerns, understanding store layout and safety equipment, conducting regular area inspections with feedback to department managers, maintaining time clock records, potentially closing the store (locking doors, arming the store, turning off lights), knowing product locations to assist customers, maintaining a clean, attractive, well-stocked store, following PPE and safety guidelines, and upholding food safety and cleaning expectations. May be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer needs; prior experience in retail and strong detail orientation are valued for this role.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma (preferred)
  • One year of retail or related experience preferred
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents
  • Detail Oriented
  • Physical requirements: ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and stand/walk for extended periods
