Job Summary
Person In Charge (PIC) Spokane Valley oversees front-end operations in the absence of store management, serving as primary customer contact and ensuring high levels of customer service and store profitability. The PIC supervises store employees, acts as a cashier-checker, may work across multiple departments, enforces policies, handles emergencies and customer complaints, monitors service and product replenishment, maintains a clean and safe environment, assists other cashiers with register systems, and may perform close-of-day office duties.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to follow company customer service procedures
- Demonstrated prior customer service skills or related experience
- Ability to interact with customers and co-workers
- Ability to understand and follow instructions
- Knowledge of all positions within the store
- Ability to work independently
- Preferred: Prior experience as a clerk or manager
