Job Summary
Directs and coordinates store operations in the absence of Store Director, Assistant Store Director or other management to achieve efficient, economical operation and ensure shifts of department associates contribute to the store's financial interests. Responsibilities include monitoring adherence to company policies, operating the cashier/register and courtesy desk, handling customer concerns, understanding store layout and safety equipment locations, conducting regular area inspections with feedback to managers, maintaining time clock accuracy, potentially closing the store, knowing product locations to assist customers, keeping the store clean, attractive, and well stocked, following PPE and safety and food safety guidelines, and performing tasks in other departments as needed. The role requires familiarity with basic mathematical concepts, detail orientation, physical ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds, and the ability to stand/walk for extended periods. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- One year of retail or related experience preferred
