Job Summary
Person in Charge (PIC) to manage a Disabilities team in Ireland, ensuring HIQA-compliant standards and high-quality, person-centred care. Responsibilities include overall service management, staff supervision and mentorship, policy implementation, complaint response, multi-disciplinary coordination, care-plan reviews, health promotion, risk assessments, and ongoing professional development. Requires QQI Level 7 in Social Care (or related discipline), minimum three years in a management/supervisory role in Health/Social Care, and a management qualification; strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. 40-hour week with benefits including extensive training, career progression, and various leave provisions; Dublin location with on-site parking and additional staff perks.
Required Qualifications
- QQI Level 7 Degree in Social Care or degree in another relevant Allied Healthcare related discipline
- minimum of three years’ experience in a management or supervisory role in Health or Social Care sector
- appropriate qualification in Health or Social Care management (minimum level 6 on the National Framework of Qualifications)
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
