Person Centred Support Worker

Job Summary
Provide person-centred disability support to a woman in her late 20s in the Clare region, focusing on enabling independence, community engagement and meaningful activities (e.g., horse riding). Role involves assisting with community participation, appointments, and engaging in preferred activities, including long drives. Must have experience supporting individuals with autism, be able to manage safety and mobility needs, and build trusting, respectful relationships. Requires a valid driver’s licence, willingness to travel, strong communication, reliability, and a person-centred approach. Training provided; buddy shifts with experienced team; supportive work environment. Shifts on Tuesdays and Thursdays (5-8 hours). Authority to obtain required clearances and certifications if not already held.
Required Qualifications
- Current Drivers Licence
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willing to obtain)
- Working with Children Clearance (or willing to obtain)
- First Aid and CPR
- Cert III In individual support or similar or willing to obtain
- Ability on Tuesday and Thursday (5-8 hour shifts)
