Permit Technician

Permit Technician responsible for data preparation, entry, and basic plan reviews related to construction permits. Duties include processing permit applications and contractor registration documents, handling customer service via phone and in person, managing department files and Laserfiche records, scheduling inspections, preparing reports and financial deposits, and providing technical support across related permit processes. Requires ability to process correspondence, maintain files, and navigate building code regulations, city ordinances, and applicable state/federal laws. Preferred ICC certification and at least two years of relevant experience. Strong communication, multi-tasking, and diplomacy skills are essential.
