Obtain permits for over-dimensional loads, arrange escorts, and prepare quotes. Provide detailed instructions to drivers regarding routing, explain Canadian customs procedures, and maintain databases. Collaborate with customer service and operations staff to answer permit questions and work with state and provincial authorities. Prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment while solving complex challenges that impact real-world logistics.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with managing many different responsibilities simultaneously in a fast paced environment
- Ability to plan and organize work with minimal supervision
- Must be a team player, and able to provide assistance to other team members
- Ability to use sound judgment and possess proven problem solving analysis and decision making skills
- Ability to read and interpret road maps
