Job Summary
Compile permit data requirements and initiate electronic and hard copy applications for municipalities, TXDOT, BNSF, UP, and other agencies. Coordinate with Electric Distribution Designers and clients to monitor status in the work management system, ensuring timely processing and accurate revision dates. Prepare executed easements for county clerk recording, track recording fees, and maintain detailed logs of document status by project and county. Perform data entry for submittals, assemble field packets, and manage company files while acting as the liaison between the company, external agencies, and clients.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in administrative type roles and duties
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records and logs across multiple concurrent projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be energetic, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and on a team
- Be personally accountable for the quality and accuracy of work product
- Must be self-starter and able to work both supervised and independently
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Possess a current Driver's License with an insurable driving record
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree or college coursework
- Familiarity with permit submittal platforms (Texas UIR, BNSF, UP) or county clerk recording processes
- Experience in the fields of power distribution, transmission, ROW, surveying, or paralegal/title work
