Permit Coordinator WANTED for Construction and Commercial Signage

Job Summary
Coordinate and expedite the permit application process for signage by interfacing with project managers, clients, and municipalities. Obtain documents and approvals, ensure permit applications are complete, review plans for correct revision dates and accuracy, prepare and submit applications to governing agencies, manage schedules from approval to final permitting, maintain all related files, and liaise with outside consultants as needed. Requires reading blueprints/plot plans, detail-oriented collaboration with engineers and designers, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Word/Excel. Located on-site in Deerfield Beach, FL with hybrid or remote options based on experience; driving may be required for site visits.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in construction or related field
- Knowledge of construction industry preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and plot plans/site plans
- Strong organizational and management skills
- Excellent follow-up, communication (written and verbal), and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Valid driver’s license with clean record
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with heavy workload
