Job Summary
Megatel Homes seeks a detail-oriented Permit Coordinator to join the Permit Department in Corporate Dallas, TX. Responsibilities include coordinating with Engineering/Drafters/vendors to obtain correct plans and assemble hundreds of new blueprints per year, processing revisions to blueprint documents, reviewing master architectural plans for HOA submittals, maintaining records in Salesforce/Excel/OneDrive, BuildPro & Brix, reviewing new build contracts/spec home orders and ordering option-specific engineering and required documents for each city permit, following up with city officials and paying city fees, printing final architectural plans (11x17), shipping documents to city and construction managers, and processing check/credit card payments for reinspection fees. Educational requirements specify a High School diploma or GED. Experience in Microsoft Office is required; Construction/Home Builder experience is preferred but not required.
