Job Summary
Oversee the Starts Process by developing panels, collecting paperwork, and submitting applications for permits and approvals to various agencies. Obtain documents from Engineers and Architects, review plans for revision dates, and coordinate with outside consultants and municipalities to ensure timely processing. Prepare start packages for construction managers, obtain necessary inspections, and maintain company files for site plan applications. Attend county board hearings on behalf of Lennar to present projects and request approval. Requires a high level of organization, ability to read blueprints, and valid driver's license. In-person attendance at communities and job sites during regular hours is essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience with single/multi-family and amenity permitting
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize and take initiative
- Must be able to read blue prints and plot plans
- Detail-oriented
- Must be a team player
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with heavy volume workload
- Valid Driver's License with good driving record
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (specifically Word and Excel)
- Ability to work in excess of eight hours per day in the confined quarters of a construction trailer
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to read plans
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry equipment which may be in excess of 50 pounds
- Ability to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
- Regular, in-person attendance at Company communities/job sites and offices during regular work hours
