Permanent Substitute - East & East Feeders

Supervise students at all times while instructing classes and developing lesson plans as needed. Maintain classroom safety, manage student behavior constructively, and provide individualized or small group instruction. Organize the classroom to promote learning, deliver in-class and at-home assignments, and maintain accurate records including grading test papers and student assignments. Gain familiarity with district curriculum and resources, attend staff meetings and professional development activities, and communicate effectively with supervisors, parents, and the community. Work in a noisy, active school environment, occasionally loading and unloading students from transportation. Serve as a permanent substitute for the duration of the school year, available to cover a variety of short-term and long-term assignments based on district needs.
