Permanent Guest Teacher - AES

Supports instruction and assessment aligned with District learner outcomes and State achievement standards. Supervises assigned students and maintains a positive learning environment. Adapts instruction to meet learners’ needs and increases the probability of advancing achievement. Follows lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher; uses the Substitute Absence Management/SAM system to manage work and schedule; completes guest teacher reports; maintains positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and community. Ensures accuracy, confidentiality, and security of student information; complies with district policies; collaborates with the regular teacher and school staff to support instructional goals. Requires active Colorado teacher license or substitute authorization.
