Permanent Display Engineer

Job Summary
Design and develop permanent retail displays from concept to production, translating customer requirements and market trends into innovative, manufacturable solutions. Produce detailed engineering drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks; provide technical documentation and coordinate with vendors for prototyping and production. Conduct engineering analyses to ensure functionality, safety, manufacturability, and reliability; select materials and processes considering cost, performance, quality, and sustainability. Manage multiple projects, contribute to prototyping and testing, analyze data with cross-functional teams, and communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. Create in-plant and in-store instructional materials as needed; maintain safety and adhere to schedules. Proficient use of workshop tools and equipment; travel up to 15%.
Required Qualifications
- BA in Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficient in SolidWorks
- Experience with CAD, 3D modeling
- Experience with power tools, 3D printers and CNC machines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Travel required: 15%
