Deliver instruction and maintain classroom routines per teacher-provided lesson plans; manage classroom behavior to create a respectful and safe learning environment; supervise students across classrooms, halls, cafeterias, playgrounds, and school events; follow district policies including safety and emergency procedures; collaborate with staff on student learning and building-wide initiatives; fill in for various grade levels and content areas with minimal advance notice; requires Iowa substitute authorization or teaching license; 170-day work calendar; full-time school-year position; Cedar Rapids area at Cedar River Academy; compensation $25 per hour; district health insurance available.
Required Qualifications
