Permanent Building Substitute (2 Positions Available)

Deliver lesson plans as instructed by the regular classroom teacher and/or school administrators; ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students within the assigned classroom and appropriately respond to all emergency situations; ensure the protection of equipment, materials and facilities as appropriate; communicate in a positive way with all students, staff, and others; manage student behavior which supports a positive learning environment; may be required to participate in building events such as fire drills, evacuations, assemblies, etc.; may need to direct activities of a classroom assistant(s); requires IL Professional Educator License and willingness to work 5 days per week at the assigned school.
